KANAGAWA by Ai Artist Pedro Mazepah (BRASIL)
This artwork was made by prompting an Artificially Intelligent program to turn a video of Italo Ferreira into a Japanese masterpiece. The resulting video has been seen tens of millions of times over by awed audiences across the world. Key frames fro the video have been composited into this graphic depicting a dreamy Japanese pointbreak at sunrise.
MY MIND by Jovi Cauwels (Belgium)
Introducing 'My Mind': a skateboard deck illustration that represents a time when I was living carefree in Baleal, Portugal.
This design was created during the spring and summer months when drawing and longboarding were my main activities. It illustrates the longboard culture mixed with bohemian elements that I draw throughout all my work.
I believe that I can only become true to myself when I follow my passion and purpose. For years I tried to live the standard expectations of society and it’s just not working for me. I feel there is more to discover in myself and the world. I only want to settle for a life that is fully aligned with how I feel inside. It's far from the easiest road, but one worth traveling.

In both graffiti and surfskate, it’s all about that street vibe and pure freedom you know. Walls become our canvas, and the streets, our waves. Surfskating is like cruising the asphalt with style, and graffiti, it's our way of leaving our mark in the streets. It's like our boards and paint cans are having a conversation, creating a unique blend of urban creativity. We leave our art on the concrete, and that's how we ride the city : in our own way.

Niko, aka Nk, founder of the "Nk Tattoo Tahiti" Shop, based in Tahiti, island of french Polynesia. Creating tattoos is much more than a passion for me. Here in one of the cradles of surfing, the connection with the ocean is natural. It is not uncommon to come across a majestic manta ray when you go surfing, even in the Hava'e pass, at the mythical spot of Teahupoo. I was delighted to be able to create this board for Waterborne. Good ride !

Illustrator and graphic designer based in Majorca. I am in love with the sea, the waves and nature, colorful designs, and looking for sunsets and sunrises to be able to immerse ourselves in the Mediterranean. The illustration aims to reflect the experience of good times. Gliding with the skateboard in search of the perfect wave in an idyllic setting. The rainbow on a sunny day, accompanied by your faithful and inseparable friend, each element evokes the feeling of happiness and freedom experienced while riding the Waterborne surfskate. The excitement and joy of those unforgettable moments, where everything it's perfect and time stands still.
