Coming from 5 years Carver CX experience on 34", 37", 46" and 48" decks, i've just installed the rail adapter on a Longboard Larry Cruiser 56", my board truck holes are vintage ones (longer between holes), i've placed the plates in order to shorten the WB (from 38 to 37"). The fact that bottom plate holes are vintage with TKP on top plate (Paris Street 149) eliminates the risk to rattle the nuts of each plate. Coming from CX trucks, i immediately noted the advantage of the waterborne adapter, with CX front. I found a good balance with the following set up, rear : shock pad, waterborne adapter with Riptide 87,5, Paris TKP street 149. Front : shock pad + 2 Carver risers and CX with Riptide 85a. It pumps a bit better than with CX+C2, but the most advantage i note is that it mimics much better the longboard surf flow with the rear lean. It allows to drive like a real longboard surf, mostly from the rear, even if the game is to cross step and move to the front. I was expecting an instability because of the rear lean, it's not the case. Instability from the rear comes a lot from the turn. So very happy with this custom set up to longboard surf feel and cross step. I've prefered to use nuts in any case to secure the setup. I don't feel too high on the ground, but it's certainly a max for my taste. I've sanded wheelwells myself just on rear, to be safe with 70mm (Surfskatelove 81a), it was necessary. Front don't needs wheelwells because of CX stop point occurs before wheelbite risk. As 52 years old longboard surfer (9") and suplongboard surfer (10"), i really appreciate this improvment. I am very satisfied with the purchase of the Waterborne surf and rail adapter fin system, and I actually been looking forward for years to own a good set up since a friend introduced me an old version of the system on a setup he built and at the same moment I wanted one. It is integrated on my surfskate with Ace 66 (not sure if AF1), on a 10'' wide deck, along with 70 mm wheels; comparably to my Miller Kira surfsakte on its manufacture set up, it came up the same height. I ride it mostly on super carve mode with no issues of wheel bites, although the wheels, likes on my every skateboard leave marks on the deck from heavy leans, yet not locking up. For me, this baby is a real beast! I really enjoy riding it and it serves with honor as a double pivot surfskate in my skateboards fleet. Thank you so much!

Worth it.

This is the greatest feeling I have had since I started wakeboarding over 20 years ago. The board is unbelievable and I love mega pump mode. I will be upgrading to bigger wheels very soon. If you are thinking about getting one you won’t be disappointed.

Its really sick cant put it into words the lean is insane like 60deg or more lol you can simulate at 100% bottom turns at the right slope and speed takes balls for sure. Patrick is the best dude ever always there to help thanks so much so glad I went for waterborne instead of the rest that the market offers the hype is real!

It's a wonderful, intuitive feeling. I never imagined how useful my training with the Ripstick as a child would be. It allows for many adjustments, which is both an advantage and a disadvantage, because you have to try it with different trucks and different bushings of varying hardness and shapes until you find the perfect combination. I'm still experimenting with my pintail with Paris v2 trucks. I highly recommend it.

A simple upgrade to the earlier style rail adapter eliminating chatter and vibration, runs silky smooth - recommended!

Meepo Flow / Waterborne Surf Adapter conversion. Total game changer. When I’m not out eFoiling, this thing is the perfect off-water e-surf simulator. The carve feels alive, smooth, and fluid, just like catching a clean swell. Conversion was a breeze, installation was straightforward with zero hiccups. It’s the closest thing to surfing pavement I’ve ever felt. Just buy it already, you won’t regret it!

If y'all want to turn the world of asphalt and concrete, plus some grass and or turf floater sections, into your surf (e) skate Park. This is the apex right now, imo. Well, combined with an appropriate surf oriented e-skate such as the meepo flow .Sorry, I couldn't afford an evolve stroke currently. My first skate with the super pump setting was...... A revelation. Slow-medium speed carving is in my wheelhouse but this thing carves at speed also. Stable at 15-20+mph but that's not the fun zone, for me, and I don't want to figure out it's limit in that regard. That's a young man's area of progression and I'm 54. If you like the rail to rail style of surf/snow, this will get you the reps that any other type of skateboarding can not. Durability and construction have been bullet proof for me. This is my second adapter set. My first is prior to the fin system and it has 300+ miles of carving joy and it is still functioning as it was intended. It's working better, imo, it's a bit looser and it's movement is a bit smoother. The gains in super pump mode are without question and I'm hoping it breaks in and just gets better, if that's even possible. I'm so stoked! Thank you Waterborne! You should do a colab with meepo! I could go on but the surf looks junky so I'm going skating.
