TAURUS Widebody Black Bamboo - Deck

This is the widest deck we offer, and it is extremely capable. The added width allows for more control, giving riders the capability to do incredibly tight carves at high speeds. In combination with the concave on the tail, this board is a performance machine.

  • Ergonomic concave and griptape for committed surfskate maneuvers
  • 5 layer Black Bamboo Construction
  • 32" length and 19" axel to axel wheelbase
  • 10.5" wide concave deck, with kicktail

Good deck, but watch out for wheel bite

Got the Surfskate Love combo for christmas and it's great. One issue however is when using the waterborne surf adapter i had wheel bite a few times. Also had wheel bite with the rail adapter so i've swapped out the trucks with one of my carver boards (surf adapter on carver deck, cx truck on taurus) and now i love them both.

A serious upgrade for skate park riding!

Bravo Waterborne! The Taurus deck that I bought from you has allowed me to enjoy my sessions in skate parks even more than I had been. I started surf skating transition in skate parks in mid-June and I had been using a 9 inch wide deck with no concave to it at all. I had enjoyed skating on that deck until...this past Monday when I got on my new WB deck for the first time. My old board is now obsolete. I immediately became addicted to the concave shape and the additional width of the Taurus. I had been concerned that I might not like giving up the 2 inches (34"-32") in length from my previous board, but I quickly realized that I liked the shorter deck even more because I feel like I have more control of it. The Taurus actually feels even more stable to me than my previous deck because of the increased width. And it also makes me feel very confident on drop-ins as I learn them. It just looks more stable to me when I'm getting ready to drop in. I strongly recommend the Taurus for using in the skate parks.

Libra & Taurus

Narrative

There are days where nothing goes your way- days that make you feel like a total loser. Maybe you knock over a trashcan backing out of your driveway and run over your dog pulling back in. Whatever it may be, just know that there's always a way to put a positive spin on things. So pick up that trash, sort the recycling, and dig a nice grave for your dog... And if your life is headed downhill, you might as well be riding a skateboard.

LIBRA

This is by far the most responsive surfskate you'll ever ride. With concave from nose to tail, and the shortest wheelbase of any Waterborne surfskate. You're guaranteed insane amounts of manueverability. The pointed nose and tail resemble a surfboard, and give the LIBRA additional style points.

TAURUS

This board sports a wide deck with Medium concave from the trar truck to the wide tail. It is capable of anything from cruising to shredding steep transitions. The rear Rail Adapter allows for more rail-to-rail lean, meaning maximum performance and forward pumping drive.

Performance oriented

Ergonomics

TAURUS & LIBRA feature thoughtfully designed concaves and treatments to create surfskates that are ideal for performance manuvers.
